What are Digital Backdrops?
Digital backdrops are images that take the place of the backgrounds of your photos. You can take any photo, give your subjects a new digital background, and turn your photo into a beautiful creation, with or without a studio or planning. For professional photographers, there's no need to buy expensive muslin backdrops or scenery for your studios. You can have hundreds of digital backdrops at your disposal with ease, and for a very low cost.

How does it work?
With the appropriate photo/graphics editing software, and your digital photos (or scanned in photos) on your computer, you basically "cut out" the subjects of your photos and "paste" them onto a digital backdrop image. See our Tutorials section for more information

Can I use any photo with digital backdrops, or do I need a green or blue screen (chromakey)?
You do not need to use a colour screen in order to use digital backdrops. They will work with any photo! Most professional studio photographers are already set up with chromakeys, so digital backdrops work in that case as well. Please see our Tutorials section for step-by-step instructions on how to work with any photo, with or without a chromakey.

Is it hard to work with digital backdrops?
When you first start, you may find the process a bit challenging, especially if you're not familiar with your photo/graphics editing software. However, with a little practice (and it won't take long), you will be making beautiful photo creations! The more and more you work with digital backdrops, the easier it will be, and the better your photos will look. Take your time and enjoy the process. What format are the photos in?
All digitalbackdrops.co.uk Backdrops are in Tiff format.

Do you add Backdrops on a regular basis?
Yes. We add Backdrops as they are made. Click on "here" to see the latest backdrops that we have posted.

Can I submit backdrops to sell?
Right now the only backdrops that we sell are the ones taken by digitalbackdrops.co.uk and it's partners. In the future we may consider this.

Do you offer refunds?
Once your purchase is made we can not offer a refund. The reason for this policy is because we offer full access to our entire digital collection of backdrops and, as such, there is no way for our products to be returned. On a rare occasion we will make exceptions on a case by case basis.

Are there any restrictions on my use of the digitalbackdrops.co.uk backdrops that I download?
Yes. While digitalbackdrops.co.uk offers great freedoms and a wide ranges of uses, we do not allow the redistribution of our backdrops.

If I purchase a Backdrop Package are there any other fees I will encounter when downloading from the site?
No, You will have unlimited downloads of that package.

Is account sharing allowed?
No, sharing an account is no different than distributing our materials to others. Individual accounts must be purchased by your friends and colleagues.

I bought a Backdrop Package, but it says I'm not activated, what do I do?
Your account will be setup within 24hours. Please check your email for your account details
